Daffodils will always make me think of COVID now. When my dad was sick with COVID in the hospital and we couldn’t visit him and he was too sick to communicate with us, I took so many long walks around my neighborhood. Watching the daffodils emerge gave me hope, helped me trust in the cycles of life, the promise of regeneration, our resilience.
